Introduction
Rotavirus and Adenovirus are major causes of infectious gastroenteritis in infants and young children, also observed in adults. The major symptoms of viral gastroenteritis are diarrhea and vomiting. Rotaviruses and adenoviruses are respectively the first and second most common agents responsible for viral gastroenteritis.
The KaiBiLiTM Rotavirus/ADV Antigen Rapid Test Device is an in vitro immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of adenovirus rotavirus antigens in human feces specimen. It is useful as an aid in management and monitoring of viral gastroenteritis.
